It is FREE to join. By joining you earn Time Credits (TINY’s) by helping each other – one hour of your time entitles you to one hour of another member’s time. Unlike the old barter networks, you don’t need to find a direct match on both ends – You just find someone who is offering a service you want, or someone who wants your service, finds you.
Then you email them, meet up, exchange and log the TINY’s earned or spent! You don’t even need a TINY in your account to get started. Going into debt is not bad here, it’s good. It motivates you to give back. The goal is not to accumulate TINY’s – it’s to have giving equal receiving!
Ten Simple Steps:
1. Become a member for free
2. Post offers and requests.
3. If you see a service you’d like, right click on the email link and email the person directly.
4. Schedule a time and location for the service to be delivered.
5. Log in to the record the amount of time received.
6. When another member contacts you about your offer follow the same steps above except now you are giving them your time.
7. Both members can review the completed online exchange and report any errors to us.
8. Volunteer with us! We need people to spread the word and explain how this works!
9. If you want a service not on TINY, find someone who has that skill and get them to join.
10. If you want to reward a friend for providing help to you (say if they helped you move), get them to sign up!
